Alright… the day went pretty well but with a price. I fell down the stairs earlier today. Kinda neat since I was agile enough to twist and turn in mid air before my butt crashed on the steps, causing my head to miss the sharp edges. My back still hurts and my legs are pretty numb. I can still walk, but not as fast as I normally do. I’m still waiting for my salary from OnRPG. I’m currently fixated on paying my debts and saving up for the future.
As expected, Blazblue never left the disc trays of both my Ps3 and Xbox since we got em. I managed to finally master the timing of Noel’s Soko loop (6C>BC). I also managed to land a couple of R1 (some crazy jap) combos in the process. Still workin on my match strategies but at least my bread and butters are A BIT polished.
Brother’s workin on his Tager now. Managed to perform pretty well against tager today (i think). All the B&B’s managed to connect without leaving Black beats. It took a while before I performed the combos right, especially since the 6C>BC loop is just torture (for me at least).
Anyway… we went to circle restaurant in Makati Shangri-la hotel. The buffet was rather pricey so we had to dig in every other minute. If you were to ask me, the price was both worth it and so-so at the same time. Indeed there were different vareties of food. We had Japanese sushies, Chinese dumplings, Italian pastas etc. Though the awesome selection, each dish tasted different from their actual taste. The tempura was too soggy and the sauce wasn’t so”gingery” as well. Pastas would taste bland and would only bring off the taste of untouched noodles. Yeah… it was like a game of imagination for me. 1,500 php is definitely a huge price to pay for a bunch of rip-off dishes.
(well… at least they got the steak right…)
It’s been a while since I used an offensive character. Kinda like a big leap from Testament gameplay. Yeah Blazblue was as lovely as I thought It’d be. The net coding was way awesome since I barely felt that much lag. At least there’s no input lag! that’s a lot better than losing frames. Arc systems have outdone themselves this time. The game is quite famous now and is currently the number one preordered game online.

How fun… I ended up sleeping the whole day. I didnt get any work today so I decided to get a few hours of sleep… LONG HOURS. Dad’s suffering from intestinal flu. I dont know if he should get a check up soon but the guy still goes to the office regardless of his condition. My cousin also has a flu… prolly since she goes out often. Hmm… WTH… it’s not like I care. Blazblue’s currently on its way. It’s been years since we first saw the game being tested in Japan. The Guilty Gear community’s prolly getting goosebumps by now. I’m still a bit sleepy, prolly due to the weather.
Well well well… that was surprising. I woke up to the sound of the intercom that ravaged my ears like it always did. I reached over and yanked the phone trying to stretch my brittle bones forward. To my surprise, my father told me that I wasn’t going to take my brother to school today. Turns out that everyone in the house was sick… including the maids. Kinda weird since Drew (cousin) and I were the only ones who were not affected. I expected the worst and told em to get a checkup, fearing it may be A(H1N1). unfortunately for me, my father didn’t listen. Everyone was in their rooms shitting bricks while I was playing prototype. Kinda fun since the intercom didn’t ring as much today. After finishing the last part of my workload, I immediately lied down and rested.
Yeah I flipped 7 feet in the air after seeing those words from Playasia. I was expecting the game to be launched around July (especially since that’s what they said) so I guess it was a rather normal reaction for me.I tried to play Uncharted to keep myself away from temptation, desperately trying to maintain control over my spending spree. I brushed through the levels like a madman, cursing the enemies like hell. I felt that I needed to supress a lot of willpower so I set the difficulty to hard. The game was fairly easy IMO… and to be honest it’s one of the best PS3 games I’ve ever played… but before I knew it…..
