Alright… the day went pretty well but with a price. I fell down the stairs earlier today. Kinda neat since I was agile enough to twist and turn in mid air before my butt crashed on the steps, causing my head to miss the sharp edges. My back still hurts and my legs are pretty numb. I can still walk, but not as fast as I normally do. I’m still waiting for my salary from OnRPG. I’m currently fixated on paying my debts and saving up for the future.
As expected, Blazblue never left the disc trays of both my Ps3 and Xbox since we got em. I managed to finally master the timing of Noel’s Soko loop (6C>BC). I also managed to land a couple of R1 (some crazy jap) combos in the process. Still workin on my match strategies but at least my bread and butters are A BIT polished.
Brother’s workin on his Tager now. Managed to perform pretty well against tager today (i think). All the B&B’s managed to connect without leaving Black beats. It took a while before I performed the combos right, especially since the 6C>BC loop is just torture (for me at least).
Anyway… we went to circle restaurant in Makati Shangri-la hotel. The buffet was rather pricey so we had to dig in every other minute. If you were to ask me, the price was both worth it and so-so at the same time. Indeed there were different vareties of food. We had Japanese sushies, Chinese dumplings, Italian pastas etc. Though the awesome selection, each dish tasted different from their actual taste. The tempura was too soggy and the sauce wasn’t so”gingery” as well. Pastas would taste bland and would only bring off the taste of untouched noodles. Yeah… it was like a game of imagination for me. 1,500 php is definitely a huge price to pay for a bunch of rip-off dishes.
(well… at least they got the steak right…)
